Wally Johnson
Wallace Johnson’s family moved to Virginia in 1951 and he has been rooted here ever since. He went away to prep school and college and for a while, pursued a banking career. He eventually realized that he really wanted to work with wood. He has over 30 years of experience as a master cabinetmaker. His impressive portfolio includes work in historic properties, private residences, foreign embassies, churches, and vacation homes. His work earned him an award from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and has been featured in such publications as; Loudoun Magazine and Woodshop News. Wally’s love for woodworking led him to the field of kitchen design. He began designing kitchens for discerning clients in 1988. His deep understanding of the cabinet making process guides his designs, creating intricately crafted kitchens. He personally installs the cabinetry with the precision learned from his extensive background in woodworking.

Lisa Hoffer, AKBD
Lisa specializes in space planning, creating rooms that are not only beautiful, but maximize functionality and storage. She enjoys working one-on-one with clients to discover their needs; guiding them through the design process and delivering a space that works perfectly for their lifestyle. She understands that whether new construction or a remodel, a kitchen or bath is an investment and must meet the customer’s long-term needs.
 
A graduate of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) accredited design program held at Lord Fairfax Community College, Lisa studied construction methodology, lighting and design, materials and sources, drafting, three dimensional drawing, and computer aided design with some of the industry’s most experienced designers. She passed NKBA’s rigorous Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD) exam in October 2008.
 
Since 2001, Lisa has lived in Round Hill with her husband, Tim, and their three sons. The family is very active in sports. When not cheering on her sons at a game, Lisa might be found volunteering at Loudoun Inter Faith Relief.
